Contains : Purple loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria), ratio 1:5, purified water, 28% natural grain alcohol.
Description : Purple loosestrife is primarily used to treat diarrhea and dysentery. Its antidiarrheal action is mainly due to the gallic tannins, which represent 10% of the composition of the plant. By their astringency, tannins absorb the excessive intestinal mucus, precipitate protein and help to reduce stool frequency. It is recommended to regulate the bowel and block diarrhea occurring in infants again fed with breast milk. This plant is also suggested in the treatment of haemorrhages of urogenital tract and to treat vaginal discharge and vulvar pruritus.
Purple loosestrife acts as a tonic and as a nutrient to restore and revive the gallbladder and liver. Due to its richness in polyphenols, it is often used in the treatment of venous insufficiency manifestations.
