Description : This plant contains a complex substance called forskolin.
The forskolin helps to lower blood intraocular pressure: several studies have shown efficacy in the treatment of glaucoma. Other benefits were also noticed in the treatment of hypertension, asthma eczema, psoriasis and angina pectoris.
The forskolin stimulates digestive enzymes and improves nutrient absorption in the small intestine. Recent studies also show a stimulation of thyroid function, an acceleration of the basal metabolic rate, a significant increase in lipolysis (which is not surprising because it is regulated by AMP (adenosine monophosphate)) and even decreased fatty tissue synthesis. Thus, forskolin has become one of the "fat burners" used the most since ephedra was removed from the market.
