The flavonoids present in the hawthorn, including hyperoside and vitexin, regulate the heartbeat. They act on too fast cardiac rhythms, decrease the heart palpitations and the exaggerated perception of the heartbeat among anxious person. Preliminary studies indicate that kalmegh has hepatoprotective and cardioprotective properties. The bilberry restores blood vessels and prevents deterioration. It is also a valuable aid in stomach disorders. The motherwort has a recognized action on the heart and circulation. Various studies show that it can slow a too fast cardiac rhythm, while improving the heart’s activity in general.

The guggulsterones E and Z contain in the guggal gum have the property of reducing the level of "bad" cholestrol (LDL) and blood triglycerides. The Butcher's broom is known for its diuretic properties. It is also a venous vasconstrictor. The schisandra improves coordination and endurance. It improves concentration and increases the absorption of oxygen, beneficial to cells. The result is a feeling of well being and increased physical performance. Finally, the Cayenne regulates blood flow and increases the effect of other herbs (synergy).
